Q &A with Coach Branstrom...
How do you look at the upcoming season? –
We are young and have some early growing pains, but we have a good group who enjoys playing together.
How do you look at your league race? –
Leavenworth, Olathe South, and SM Northwest will fight for the top spot in the Sunflower League.
Anything that you would like add?
Our goal must be on playing together and playing hard. Success will be a byproduct of relentlessly pursuing those 2 goals.
What will the keys to success be for your team? –
#1 –Adapt
#2- Be Relentless
What is your game plan for this year considering your team is smaller? --
We are going to play unconventional, and be smart with our shots.
How can you improve your team's chances to get to state?--
By playing offense  that is hard to defend.
Describe how you motivate your team? --
The way that we play this year, will be hard for it not to be motivating, a lot of people will play, and they will play hard.
Why is off season conditioning so important? --
Offseason conditioning is so important because we only have 13 practices before our first game, and we don't want to spend all our time running. I want them to be in shape when they come in.
Explain what will be key for a successful season? --
You beat the teams your suppose to, and win about 50% of the games that are evenly matched, and you win some games that you're not suppose to.
Who is your teams leader? --
Ashley Heller, Annemarie Boeh, Ryley DeMaro, and Sami Marks.
